COVID-19 has affected our day to day life, but at the same time this is an opportunity to learn and adapt. The rush we used to feel in our lives is nowhere to be seen, we have slowed down. This is benefiting all of us in striking a balance in our lives. Now we are realizing what really matters in life, without having to read any self-help book.

Now we are more focused on health, peace and survival. materialistic pleasures have taken a back seat. Remaining healthy and alive is our first priority now. The virus has taken us back to the basics. People have started to cook their own food, clean their house, read their diaries written long ago, spend time with friends and family. Now we have time to take care of our own selves, the stress which had engulfed every age group is slowly and gradually fading away. People are picking up their hobbies once again, now we can see the dust on the guitar has gone off, that gardening equipment which was deposited in store room is back in action.

The pandemic has taught us a valuable lesson, no matter what our nationality, colour, cast and creed are we have to work as one common force else survival is a distant dream. We have to get rid of insensitivity and irresponsible behaviour. Now we know for sure that only science and technology can rescue us from this pandemic. Scientists around the world are working on development of vaccine, our duty is not to panic but behave responsibly, steps as basics as wearing masks and washing hands can save lives. Our history is full of examples where we humanity has overcome biggest of hurdles. This too shall pass, but this will bring a new normal, let’s embrace it.
